PICTORIAL: Kano Health Ministry, CSADI Celebrates 2024 World AIDS Day

The Kano state ministry of health and the Community Support and Development Initiatives CSADI said they stands with nearly 30,000 people in Kano state living with HIV and AIDs in the state, as global community celebrating 2024 world AIDs Day.

The state commissioner of Health Dr Abubakar Labaran Yusuf while briefing journalist in Kano on Monday said the state government led by engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf is committed to ensuring that everyone in the state especially people living with the disease have quality healthcare services without discrimination.

The Theme for World AIDS Day 2024 is “Take The Right Path: My Health, My Rights,” emphasized the importance of protecting human right to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

In a remark, the executive director of CSADI Hajiya Zainab Ahmad Suleiman commended the state government for commemorating the day and supporting nongovernmental organizations in fighting HIV/AIDS in Kano state.
