The Kano state government says it is dismayed for the unhygienic situation at the state ministry of Justice describing it as unfit for judges, lawyers and other judiciary staff to work in it.
The acting commissioner for Environment and Climate change Muhammad Yusuf Danduwa disclosed this during Fridays monthly environmental sanitation for markets, business premises and government establishment held in Kano.
According to him, the Kano state ministry for justice been law abiding institution, should not in anyway work in an unhygienic environment.
He said sanitation and environment expert will work with their counterpart of Justice to ensure all the necessary environment issue be address simultaneously.
“Their toilet is very dirty, their is no water, and as per as justice is concern, we relay on, therefore they suppose to have a clean environment,” said Danduwa.
During the exercise, the state central environmental sanitation committee has visited Kano state bureau for statistics, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and computer center located at Audu Bako Secretariat and both were commended for maintaining healthy and clean environment.
The commissioner urged the people in the state to Saturday monthly environmental sanitation to clean their domain and make it free from communicable disease.
