The newly posted Commissioner of Police of the Nigerian Police, Kano command, CP Salman Dogo Garba has solicited for strong working relationship with Kano command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) for better security of life and properties of people.
SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the NCDC’s command public relations officer in a statement said Dogo disclosed this when he visited Kano Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala in his office at the state headquarters, Kano.
According to Idris, in a brief and important remarks during the visit, CP Salman Dogo harped on harmonious working relationship, stressing that the NSCDC should always be the first point of call in terms of synergy.

The new police boss in Kano therefore solicited for improvement of working relationship with the Corps pointing out that he’s delighted with the news he has been receiving since assumption of duty that the civil defence in Kano has always responded positively to calls for a joint partnership in curtailing crimes and criminality in the state.
In his response, Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala pledged continuos partnership with the Police in Kano with particular emphasis in eradicating the menace of frequent thugs clashes in some areas in the state.
“I’m assuring you of maintaining cordial relationship with the police, I did that with your predecessor AIG Muhammad Gumel and assuredly I will collaborate, complement and support you in reducing to the barest minimum prevailing security challenges in Kano”, Commandant Falala concluded.
There was a presentation of souvenirs exchanged between the two heads of the security agencies meeting for the first time.
