The Kano state commissioner for Land and Physical planning to sponsor five hundred students cut across 44 local government areas in the state to study National Certificate in Education (NCE) at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education Kumbotso, Kano state.
The special adviser to the Governor on Land Honorable Nanu Kankarofi disclosed this in a statement sent to GLOBAL TRACKER in Kano on Monday.
According to him, the occasion under the auspices of the friends of Kano governor is aimed at complementing the state government commitment to Education.

It said “Today the Commissioner of Land & Physical Planning, Hon. Abduljabbar M. Umar, in his effort to support His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kano Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf has undertaken to sponsor 500 students to embark on a 3-year NCE program from all the 44 Local Governments of Kano State, at Sa”adatu Rimi College of Education, Kano State.
“This is to further lend credence to the commitment of this administration to enhance education to an enviable height.
“At the occassion, which was under the auspices of the Friends of Gov. Abba K. Yusuf, the Honourable Commissioner Land & Physical Planning Alh Abduljabbar Umar, reiterated his call for collective and individual support to education at all levels, he also praised the Governor for declaring State of Emergency in Education and the priority given to the improvement of educational standard in Kano state.
