The ancient city of Kano state is a largest city in northern Nigeria which we have over ten millions people population, Kano is the centre of commerce where small, medium and large scale of products are produces.
It is a full of crowed of people from different areas in and out which is call (Kano ta Dabo sha baki). As a result of that almost all the roads in the city are busy all times.
It also contain different pedesterian road, roundabout, junction and cross-by. Despite the security agencies like Kano state road traffic agency (KAROTA), traffic police, traffic light and road safety inorder to control the movement of the vehicles around the state.

Traffic light consist the three signals transmitting meaningful information to road users through and symbol which includes arrows.
The red light tell drivers to stop while the green light on means the driver can start driving or keep driving and the yellow light on also means to what it is safe to, because the light is about to turn red.
One of the set of yellow and green light that controlling the movement of vehicle usually at point where two or more roads join.
In addition to that, traffic light is very significant figure especially in develop, developing and even under develop nations were rules and regulation are violated normally, traffic light help us to regulate movement of vehicles through interaction of flows. Also the traffic signals light vital tools used to manage traffic interaction.
Subsequently, a Kano vehicles drivers take new dimension as well as we behaviour normally, we are even violating the rules and regulating abide by traffic police and Kano road traffic agency (KAROTA) there is fine if you were found guilty talk less of traffic light which there is no fine guilty unless accident or jammed a particular property.
Furthermore, unfortunately when the red signals light on by vehemently people will keep driving in a high speed limit, as a result of that accident occured during the other side crossing by their green signals light on. One of the issues draw my attention is that people are risking their life in interrogating traffic order, on the other hand some other people trying to cross road either by leg or by behaviour.
Something worry is what we when government agencies vehicles are coming in the process were traffic signal are red, example like if governor, commissioner or other top government official are in cross- by they doesn’t care or recognize weather traffic light is on or off way. And may be because that they are always with their ambulance.
Moreover, women and children are the victimes of roads drivers disorder may be that behaviour of drugs abuse by drivers still play a major role because some some people are smook, drink and even snoop which make possible for them to close their eyes while driving. In the recent time, accident rate increase at the emergency unit of the Murtala Muhammad specialist Hospital by 28% instead of 22% before.
However, the state government is trying their best but still it is not enough, it suppose to take action on anybody found guilty. All the Kano state junction and roundabout should have CCTV camera in order to watch the movement of the society. Another issue is that non continuity in government many project implement on road by a particular government but when another government take over the project is been abolish especially if the two government comes from different political parties.
In conclusion, people should take patient when it come to driving not because of hurrying but for the safety of their life. Government agencies like KAROTA, V.I.O and road safety should take ation and prevent this reckless behaviour in Kano state and Nigeria at large.
