The Kano state chapter of the National association of judicial and crime correspondents (NCJC), has congratulated muslims ummah globally on the successful celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
Abubakar Haruna Galadanci, the secretary of the association disclosed this in a statement sent to GLOBAL TRACKER correspondents in Kano Saturday.
The statement commended the citizens for their resilience, unity and commitment to peace which has made this year’s celebration remarkable.
Notably, the celebration was marked by zero reports of security breaches, across the state, despite the facts that many dangerous spots were already marked and taken by gallant officers showcasing the effectiveness of our security agencies and the public’s cooperation.
“We appreciate the efforts of Security personnel especially Department of Security Services DSS, Nigerian Police Force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps as well as paramilitary organizations whom are working day and night ensuring the maintaining law and order in the state.
“Traditional leaders especially the Emir of Kano Mallam Muhammad Sanusi the Second has play a vital role for guidance and peace advocacy towards the Good people of the state for promoting peace among the Good people of Kano.
“We pray that the values of compassion and kindness that define this blessed occasion continue to guide us.
“We wish everyone a prosperous and peaceful year ahead.
