The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC), Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has congratulated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the people of Kano State and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Takutaha celebration.
In a goodwill message issued to mark the occasion, Abdullahi described Takutaha as an important period for Muslims to reflect on the values of faith, sacrifice, unity, compassion and peaceful coexistence.
He commended Governor Yusuf for his commitment to the development of Kano State and his efforts towards improving the welfare and living conditions of residents.

Ismail Garba Gwammaja, the Director of Public Enlightenment, Kano State Housing Corporation disclosed this in a statement sent to GLOBAL TRACKER in Kano on Tuesday.
The KSHC managing director urged the people of Kano to use the celebration to promote peace, tolerance, mutual understanding and unity, stressing that the progress and prosperity of the state depended largely on the collective support and cooperation of its citizens.
He also called on Muslim faithful to continue praying for peace, stability and sustainable development in Kano State and Nigeria.
Abdullahi extended his goodwill to members of the Kano State Executive Council, traditional and religious leaders and the entire people of the state, wishing them a peaceful, blessed and joyous Takutaha celebration.
“May Almighty Allah accept our acts of worship, strengthen the bonds of unity among us, and continue to bless Kano State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria with peace, prosperity and progress,” he said.
The KSHC boss further urged residents to continue supporting the present administration in its efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy and advance the development of the state.
