It is a undeniable facts that about 2.2 Millions eligibles children have never received a single dose of antigens of Routine Immunization and many pregnant mother have not visited health facilities for Anetinatal cares and this have a posed a serious danger to their lives.
Farar Kasa community and neighboring settlements in Kwassallo ward of Soba LGA of Kaduna state are among the places that has such issues and it was on this reason United Nations Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) as one of the strongest development partners took it upon itsself through zero dose activity to resolve this menace and ensure no single child left out unvaccinated.
The Zero dose out reach in Farar Kasa in Kwassallo ward of Soba local government area of Kaduna state was colourful occasion as many pregnant mother and Unimmunzed children took the advantage of the event to be immunized as the program covered nutrition, Routine Immunization, People suffered tuber close diseases and all other ailments benefited.

Mallam Habibu Suleman is the village Head of Kwassallo applauded Unicef for the kind gesture as choosing Fara kasa community noting that Farar Kasa community is one of the hard to reach and many caregivers and pregnant mother lack access to visited health facility especially during raining season.
“And this caused lost of lives particularly women but with this development is a step forward as he promised to continue encourage his subject to visit health facilities against all odds.
“I want categorically thanks Unicef for breaking this barrier for initiated such laudable programmes and will not relent towards follow up” he said.
Also speaking at the event Chairman of Soba local government area Abdulmumini Bawa who was represented by the council secretary of Soba local government area, Barrister, Hamisu Hamza appreciated Unicef for choosing Soba as one of the local government area that benefited for zero dose as this will go along way in reducing the menace of Unimmunzed children and lack of attending ANC by pregnant mother.

“We have noted the signifant contribution of Unicef in areas of health Education, Water and sanitation and we have to complement them he noted”
Not fewer 150 eligibles children and high numbers of pregnant mother vaccinated during outreach apart from other medical services.
Dignitaries that attended the zero dose in Farar Kasa community include Unicef Deputy represtative programme, Chief operation and Chief of fields officers
Other are Dr, Gerida Brukilla who is heading Unicef C field.
