Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A), (a group created to champion support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) Kano State Chapter, has appointed Hon. Abubakar Aminu Ibrahim as Secretary of its Directorate of Mobilisation as the organisation strengthens its grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointment was approved and conveyed by the Kano State Coordinator of A4A, Engr. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo.
Reacting to the appointment, Ibrahim expressed appreciation to Gwarzo and the leadership of the organisation for considering him worthy of the responsibility.

He described the appointment as a demonstration of confidence in his ability to contribute to the growth and success of A4A, pledging to work diligently to justify the trust placed in him.
The newly appointed Mobilisation Secretary said he would work closely with the organisation’s leadership and members to strengthen mobilisation activities and expand its grassroots presence across Kano State.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to Ibrahim, the mobilisation drive would focus on building broad-based grassroots support for Tinubu’s administration and advancing A4A’s political objectives across Kano State.
He called for unity, dedication and collective participation among members and supporters, stressing that sustained grassroots engagement would be important to achieving the organisation’s stated goals.
Expressing confidence in the organisation’s capacity to fulfil its objectives, Ibrahim declared: “Together we will deliver.”
A4A is a political mobilisation platform established to coordinate support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with structures planned across Northern Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory.
Ibrahim brings previous political and legislative experience to his new assignment. He served as Senior Special Adviser on Social Media to former Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, from 2017 to 2023.
He also served as Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, from 2023 to 2025.
His appointment comes as A4A continues to expand its organisational structure in Kano, including the establishment of local government coordination and other directorate positions to strengthen its mobilisation activities ahead of the next general elections.
