Kano Zoological Garden becomes a beehive Sunday as teeming visitors from within and outside the state trooped in to spend a quality leisure time.
The Public Relation Officer of the Zoo, Farouk Isa Musa, expressed his appreciation over what he described as ‘a peaceful and orderly mannner’ the visitors conducted themselves during their visitations.
The spokesperson of the agency attributed the success recorded so far to the good security arrangements made by the management of KAZOWMA, under the leadership of Alh. Lawan Jinjiri Kurmawa, by liasing with relevant security agencies, comprising the DSS, Police, Hisbah and Civil Defense Corps, to make sure visitors have a peaceful, exciting and memorable Sallah celebration.

When GLOBAL TRACKER visited the place, it observed that there is a relatively peace and order at the facility.
The MD told journalists, few days back, that Kano Zoo had brought in new species and younger animals in order to replace the older ones to mitigate inbreeding, in addition to the newly acquired state-of-the-art toys which were installed at children park.
