The Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed, has challenged social media users particularly facebook to use the platform in improving business, research, communication and reconciliación of all forms of differencies.
The Commissioner, who gave the challenge at the median edition of the Kebbi facebook connect “Remodelling the use of social medía” held in Birnin Kebbi, says facebook was a connector in peace building.
“we are here to connect with one another and see how we can continously use the social media to bring development in all sphares of our lives”

He implore the youth to always use the social media to promote peace saying, Kebbi and Nigeria is the only place we have, we can see what is happening in other places like Niger Republic.
Papers were also presented by academicians on the use of social media to promoting peace and businesses in the society.
