Kano Housing Corporation MD Congratulates Governor Abba on Third Anniversary

The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC), Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has congratulated the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, on his third anniversary in office, describing the period as one characterized by transformative leadership, people-centered governance, and remarkable developmental achievements across the state.

In a statement on the corporation’s scorecard and the administration’s three years in office, Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu commended Governor Yusuf for what he described as visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the people of Kano State.

In a statement issued by the Director of Public Enlightenment of the Corporation, Malam Ismail Garba Gwammaja, the Managing Director said the governor’s administration has recorded significant milestones in key sectors critical to the development of the state.

According to him, the administration has made substantial progress in education, healthcare, infrastructure development, transportation, housing, youth and women empowerment, social welfare, and economic revitalization, resulting in improved living standards and increased public confidence in government.

He noted that despite prevailing economic and social challenges, Governor Yusuf has remained focused on delivering the dividends of democracy and fulfilling campaign promises to the people of the state.

“The last three years have witnessed remarkable progress under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. His administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to the welfare of the people through impactful projects and policies that have positively affected various sectors of the state’s economy and social development,” he said.

The KSHC Managing Director particularly applauded the governor’s efforts in urban renewal and housing development, describing them as crucial components of the administration’s strategy to provide decent shelter and improve the physical outlook of Kano State.

He stated that ongoing infrastructural expansion and modernization projects have continued to transform the state and strengthen Kano’s position as one of Nigeria’s leading commercial and economic centres.

Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu further praised Governor Yusuf’s leadership style, noting that his humility, accessibility, and dedication to public service have inspired confidence and hope among citizens.

“Your Excellency’s leadership style, humility, accessibility, and passion for the welfare of the people have continued to inspire hope and confidence among the citizens of Kano State. Your administration’s achievements over the past three years are clear testimonies of purposeful and responsive leadership,” the statement read.

The Managing Director also expressed appreciation for the governor’s support to government agencies and institutions, which he said has enabled them to effectively carry out their mandates in line with the administration’s development agenda.

According to him, the support provided by the state government has enhanced the operational capacity of public institutions and contributed significantly to the successful implementation of various development programmes.

As Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf marks three years in office, Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health, and strength for the governor to sustain the pace of development and lead Kano State to greater heights.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Kano State Housing Corporation to supporting the administration’s vision of providing affordable housing, improving urban development, and promoting sustainable growth across the state.

The KSHC boss expressed optimism that the administration’s ongoing reforms and development initiatives would continue to yield positive results for the people of Kano State in the years ahead.
