The Executive Secretary Kano State Hospitals Management Board Dr Mansur Mudi Nagoda has on Monday distributed 14 ambulances to some health facilities in the state as part of the promises made by the state government to improve the services render in the health sector.
In a statement signed by chief public relations officer of the board Samira Suleiman qouted Dr. Nagoda as explaining that the vehicles are purposely meant for hospital use and on no account should any of them be used for either wedding or any other unofficial purpose.
According to the Nagoda, measures have been put in place to track all the vehicles at any time of the day with the hope that the facilities management, staff and drivers would strictly adhere to this instructions.

Recalled that on the 2nd of December 2023, the Executive Governor of Kano state Alhaji Abba Kabir officially launched the vehicles at the state government’s house.
The Executive Governor Alhaji Abba disclosed that this is the 1st phase as more ambulances would be provided to cover other facilities in the state. He said “we made promises to revive the health sectors when we were campaigning and in Sha Allah we shall fullfill those promises and make Kano state great again”.
Yusuf further commended the hospitals management board for the great job its carring out in restoring sanity to the health sector and promised to support in any way the government can.
Some of the facilities that recieved the ambulances includes, Sir Muhammad Sunusi hospital, Rano hospital, Bichi hospital, Sheik Muhammad Jidda hospital, Gwarzo hospital, Gaya hospital, Doguwa hospital, yadakunya leprosy hospital, Hasiya Bayero paediatrics hospital,Tudun wada hospital, Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital amongst others.
