The troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) have eliminated scores of Islamic States West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists on the shores of Lake Chad.
A security analyst and counter-insurgency expert in the Lakechad region and West Africa Zagazola Makama disclosed this on his official social media handle X, formerly Twitter.
Zagazola gathered that the troops of Sector 3 Damasak, Nigeria, and Sector 4 in Diffa, Niger Republic, conducted the joint coordinated fire mission on Saturday along the River Kamaodaugu axis.

The mission was aimed at two new camps/hideouts of ISWAP along the border on River Kamoudougu, which is a tributary of Lake Chad.
According to him, a Human Intelligence report confirms that scores of terrorists were eliminated during the fire mission.
