The Newly Elected chairman of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Abubakar Rimi Television Chapter Madi’u Adamu says their slogan is now ‘ARTV First’ which means the television station will be given priority in their day-to-day activities.
Adamu stated this shortly after he was sworn in as the chairman of the union held in Kano on Wednesday.
According to him, the RATTAWU-led administration would prioritize its activities on the improvement of working conditions and support the management in uplifting it to the highest maximum standard.

He then urged all staff of the station to give their best in working as a team so that the set objectives would be achieved.
The chairman also called on the management of ARTV to fear Allah in their dealing with staff, adding that his leadership will ensure that no member is victimized.
Other exco members include Auwal Mukhtar as vice chairman, Khadija Abdullahi as secretary, Ibrahim Yusuf as treasurer, Kamilu Habibu, financial secretary, Mansur Lawan as public relations officer of (PRO) while A’isha Aminu as Auditor of the union.
