A member of the House of Representatives representing Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency, Muhammad Hassan, is dead.
The lawmaker reportedly passed away on Friday night after a prolonged illness that lasted over a year.
He died at a hospital in Abuja, leaving behind three wives and 18 children.

According to a statement issued by Muhammad Yaro Daba, Chairman of Barrister Media Promoters, the funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at about 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at his residence in Abuja.
The late lawmaker was until his death a serving member of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, representing Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency in Kano State.
