FRSC Deploys 1,500 Personnel, 20 Patrol Vehicles for Easter Operations in Kano

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State Command, says it has deployed 1,500 personnel in the state to ensure effective traffic management during the Easter celebration.

The State FRSC Sector Commander, Ibrahim Sallau-Abdullahi, disclosed this in a statement issued in Kano by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Command, Abdullahi Labaran.

According to Sallau- Abdullahi, five ambulances, 20 patrol vehicles, and one heavy–duty truck have also been deployed on major routes and highways in the United States to enhance effective and smooth operations.

“The deployment of the 1,500 personnel which consists of regular and special marshals will ensure safety and free flow of traffic as well as the commitment of the FRSC towards safeguarding lives on Nigerian roads.

“This comprehensive deployment underscores FRSC’s proactive approach in minimizing road traffic crashes and ensuring the safety of road users during the Easter holidays and beyond,” he said.

While reiterating the FRSC’s commitment to promoting safer road environments, Sallau-Abdullahi pledged that the agency would continue to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve its goals.

He emphasized the importance of responsible driving behavior and urged all road users to prioritize safety at all times.

The Sector Commander expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation and urged them to adhere to road safety regulations during and after the Easter celebrations.
